JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) – A preferred Jonesboro consuming spot reopened Monday after the March 28, 2020, EF-3 twister destroyed it.
“The boys ran again inside,” Holli Barrientos, managing accomplice at Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen, mentioned. “I used to be on my approach again in as effectively.”
Cheddar’s was one of many buildings on Crimson Wolf Boulevard that took a tough hit from the twister.
Barrientos, two different managers and a few clients have been contained in the restaurant when the twister hit.
She mentioned the reopening means a lot to her. “I’m actually enthusiastic about opening day,” she mentioned on Sunday earlier than the reopening. “I can’t wait to see all of the company that are available in. Returning company. New company.”
Since being shut down, they’ve both helped their workers financially or helped them discover one other job.
She mentioned 25 of the unique workers are returning as they reopen “I really feel extraordinarily privileged that they loved their expertise with Cheddars previous to the storm sufficient to need to come again dwelling to us,” she mentioned.
The restaurant reopened to the general public at 11 a.m. Monday.
